About Chattanooga Orienteering

Chattanooga Orienteering is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting urban orienteering and the sports of orienteering and adventure racing throughout the greater Chattanooga area. We believe that navigation is a life skill. One that builds confidence, fitness, and a deeper connection to the outdoors.

Chattanooga was designated as a National Park City in 2025 and the community responded by creating National Park City Seeds in order to enhance the city's status as an outdoor mecca. Chattanooga Orienteering planted a seed in the spring of 2026 for Urban Orienteering. It was one of only a few seeds selected to be grown 2026.
